The HABC Lv2 Award in Food Safety has been accredited by the regulators of England (OFQUAL), Wales and Northern Ireland.
Who is the course for?
All personnel who work in a commercial premises handling food and drinks are required by law to have commensurate food safety training. This includes packaging, delivery, storage, cooking and serving of foods. The qualification meets the requirements set out by the Food Standards Agency (FSA). It is recommended that training begins within 3 months from employment and refreshed every 3 years or earlier when necessary.

This is a one day course (7 learning hours) concluding with an external examination. Learners must achieve 20 out of 30 multiple choice questions to pass the exam. All successful learners will receive an accredited certificate by Highfield Awarding Body.
